Everything Everywhere Matters: An Invitation to Everyday Discipleship

Does your faith feel like a Sunday-only event?

For many of us, it is easy to view our life as a disciple of Christ as a shift that starts at 09:00 and ends at 13:00 on a Sunday. We worship, we listen, we pray, and then we go back to our “real lives.”

But we are called to something more. We are called to be disciples of Christ 24/7.

“But… surely not me?”

When we hear the call to full-time discipleship, doubts often creep in. You might catch yourself thinking:

  • “Is that even possible in my busy life?”
  • “I don’t possess public speaking skills.”
  • “I’m not well-versed enough in the Bible.”
  • “I wouldn’t know how to respond if someone asked me a difficult theological question.”

The list of reasons why we feel unqualified can go on and on. We often mistake discipleship for a professional job description—thinking we need to be great orators, theologians, or perfect people to truly serve God.

A Simple Invitation

The truth is, Jesus didn’t just speak to the religious elite. In the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7), Jesus spoke to the multitude—everyday people with everyday jobs, worries, and families.

He offered them a way to live life based on Truth. This wasn’t a demand to become a great preacher; it was an invitation to simply be who God created you to be.

Being an everyday disciple isn’t about standing on a stage. It is about reflecting Christ in the ordinary moments:

  • In the way we work and interact with colleagues.
  • In the patience we show while driving in traffic.
  • In the kindness we offer at the supermarket checkout.
  • In the integrity we hold on the sports field.

Everything, Everywhere Matters

We would love to invite you to join us starting this Sunday as we dive into our new series: “Everything Everywhere Matters.”

Together, we will explore the Sermon on the Mount to discover how our faith intersects with every single part of our day. We will learn that God is just as present in the shower, the car, the office, and the gym as He is in the sanctuary.

Come and discover a life where you don’t have to be a “professional Christian”—you just have to be willing to walk with Him, everywhere you go.

Join us this Sunday!
