Let’s answer some of the questions that you might have…

Is it okay if I show up for the service on a Sunday morning?

Oh, of course. You are welcome to attend our Sunday morning service. We start at 10:30 a.m. and open our doors at 10 a.m.

You do not need to be a believer or have any previous connection with the church. We will certainly be glad to welcome you, chat with you, and make you feel welcome in our church family.

Our church was established by Selina, the Countess of Huntingdon, who also established many other churches in the country. Thus, the church’s name. We are part of the Countess of Huntingdon Connexion, the group of all the churches she established in the UK and Sierra Leone.

We are also part of the Baptist Union through the Eastern Baptist Association.

What can I expect on Sunday Morning?

It is a very relaxed, friendly worship service. There would be sung worship. We do not expect you to stand during that time, but we allow you to worship the Lord in the way you are comfortable and want to.

We spend time in prayer. Of course, if you want someone to pray with you and for you, we give time and space for that at the end of the service.

Usually, someone from the church family will share the talk from the Bible. Every third Sunday, we have an all-age worship, where instead of the talk, we aim to facilitate a learning space through activities and discussion on Biblical themes and topics.

Kids are an important part of our church family. Our first section focuses on involving everyone; we have some instruments and flags that kids can pick up and use during the sung worship.

We also have a creche area attached to our worship area, where kids can play with toys while you participate in worship.

We also have Sunday school for school-going children, which takes place in the adjacent hall to our worship area.

What about Kids?

Are your facilities accessible for wheelchairs and other needs?

We have an accessible building with ramp access, disabled toilets and parking spaces.

Our church has two disability champions (Roofbreakers). Click Accessibility at Countess to know more about it.

You can always approach members of our leadership team to pray with you or arrange for someone to pray with you.

You can also send us your prayer requests through the pray for me page.
