We are delighted to be having a Disability Awareness Sunday service at Countess Free Church on 24th September, 10:30am – 12pm. The theme is God’s gifts to each member of the body of Christ – which fits in perfectly with Ephesians 2:8-10 in our new September Bible series.
Whether we are young, old, disabled, non-disabled – whoever we are – we’re all ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’ in God’s image, with gifts to use in his service.
We will have a time of worship together, using Disability Awareness Sunday materials from a resource produced by the Christian disability charity Through the Roof. It will berelaxed and will include options for movement and activity, to suit different sensory processing needs. There will also be input from members of our Rich Tea Community. If you would like to share something as part of the service – a prayer or story related to an experience of disability – or would just like to find out some more details, you can call 07947375950. Our building is wheelchair accessible. We are really looking forward to this Disability Awareness Sunday and would love to see you there!
