New sermon series in Acts
On Sunday 7th January we start a new series for our Sunday gatherings: ‘Simple Courage in Challenging Times’.
Each Sunday we will be working through the book of Acts, looking at the early Church and the many trials and tribulations that are accounted for in the lives of Jesus’ followers after his ascension. We will unpack how these stories of the early Christians show God’s constant faithfulness. And we hope that what we learn will equip, challenge, inspire, and build our confidence in wanting to share Jesus and make Him known in our families, communities, workplaces and spheres of influence today.
Some themes we will be exploring: the power of faith, community & fellowship, forgiveness, the transformative power of the bible, equipping of the Spirit, helping and befriending others and the need for courage & perseverance in times of adversity.
