Week of Prayer – 13th to 20th May – Mind the Gap
Mind the Gap – Praying into the gaps – the places or peoples we might not be reaching. We pray for the outreach and mission initiatives of the church …. because we want to see Kingdom life across the city. Our week of prayer from 13th to 20th May.
A week where we deliberately make space to pray, spending time with God seeking Him for the Greater Things than These that Jesus spoke of. This prayer iniatives coincides with the nation ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ prayer initiative.
There are 4 special events for this week:
- Sun 13th, 7pm – Prayer Walk around Ely North (meet at 264 Kings Avenue)
- Wed 16th, 8pm – Gather to pray – this is the main event for all to attend
- Thur 17th (from 4pm) to Sat 19th (until 5.30pm) – Resources for prayer – call into the church any time, use the resources to be inspired and pray
- Sun 20th, 7pm – Gifts Workshop
We also encourage people to be in prayer partnerships or triplets. We also have IPODs – small groups who meet locally to pray for their local area.
